At Flipz in Lampasas, TX, our team is made up of passionate and experienced coaches with deep roots in cheer, gymnastics, dance, and athletic instruction. From nationally recognized performers and long-time educators to multi-certified professionals and dedicated youth mentors, each coach brings a unique background and a shared commitment to helping young athletes grow in skill, confidence, and character. Together, we’re building more than just technique—we’re building community.

OWNER
Christy Wiley
Christy has a lifelong passion for gymnastics, with a background in competitive gymnastics, cheerleading, and dance. She’s coached for over 30 years, including roles at Tumbleweeds, Instep with Tracy, and Lampasas ISD. A former University of Mary Hardin-Baylor cheerleader and USAG/USA Cheer member, Christy is excited to bring her energy and expertise to FLIPZ and share her love for the sport with the community.

OWNER
Mike Wiley
A former professional baseball player and High School All-American from Conway, Arkansas, Mike brings decades of athletic experience and leadership to FLIPZ. With a background in both collegiate golf and professional sports, he understands the dedication, discipline, and mindset needed to support young athletes. As co-owner, Mike plays a vital role in operations, mentorship, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. When he’s not helping out at the gym, you’ll find him golfing, traveling with Christy, or cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks.

DANCE INSTRUCTOR
Daphne Standefer
With nearly two decades of professional dance experience, Daphne trained at Margo Marshall School of Ballet and joined City Ballet of Houston in 2005, later becoming an Artist in Residence. She has performed in both classical and contemporary works across major Texas venues and with Regional Dance America. Since 2012, Daphne has taught ballet and pointe to children and adults, emphasizing strong technique and discipline. She has also served over 10 years as Assistant Director for the Inner City Nutcracker, demonstrating her commitment to training and inspiring the next generation of dancers.

COACH
Ryan Wiley
With a strong background in gymnastics and cheerleading, Ryan has earned All-American honors twice and cheered with BBYL, LMS, and LHS. She also served as a social officer for the UIL bronze medal-winning LHS cheer team and spent five years as a competitive gymnast. Ryan is currently pursuing a degree in Social Work at Texas State University, planning to continue her studies at Central Texas College. She holds certifications as a CNA, CCMA, CPR, and CPhT, and looks forward to coaching the next generation of athletes at FLIPZ.

COACH
Dusti Johns
A Lampasas native and Texas A&M graduate, Dusti has a lifelong love of cheer, tumbling, and athletics. Coached by her aunt Christy from a young age, she cheered through middle and high school, winning an ACA National Championship in 2003. Now a dental hygienist, Dusti is excited to coach alongside the Flipz team to help local youth grow in confidence and skill, especially her daughter Brimli.

Bailey Reeves
Born and raised in Lampasas, Bailey has been immersed in cheerleading and tumbling since childhood. Coached early on by Christy Wiley, her love for the sport has only grown. With years of hands-on experience and a deep passion for cheer, Bailey brings energy, skill, and dedication to every session at FLIPZ.

COACH
Landry White
Landry’s passion for gymnastics began in Lampasas and soon expanded to cheerleading, where she cheered through middle school and early high school before focusing on volleyball and track. Her background in gymnastics and cheer laid the foundation for success—earning Academic All-District honors for two years in volleyball and being named First Team All-District in 2023. Now a Psychology major at Texas A&M University, Landry is excited to return to FLIPZ as a coach, where she can share her love for the sport and help young athletes grow. No matter where life leads, FLIPZ will always be home.

COACH
Sage Thompson
Sage began gymnastics at age 3, later reaching Level 8 in trampoline and tumbling before transitioning to competitive cheer, where she competed through Level 6 and served as a two-year team captain. She went on to cheer for Navarro College under Monica Aldama and later earned her BBA in Accounting from Texas Tech, where she also coached gymnastics for three years. Sage brings high-level experience, leadership, and a passion for helping young athletes thrive at FLIPZ.
